A recent article run in the Financial Review gave an interesting insight into the renovations of the rich and famous and it seems that we are not the only ones who believe home elevators are the way of the future.
Prominent Melbourne interior designer Stuart Rattle, who has worked with many of Melbourne’s elite, was quoted as saying, “De rigueur [for] a luxury house is a butler’s pantry or kitchen; you need a cinema room, you need huge walk-in robes, preferably one each. If you’ve got enough space, his and hers bathrooms are nice. And you’ve got to have a lift. Even if they only have one floor. Everybody is panicking that they won’t be able to walk at some stage.”
Now thanks to Lift Shop, it has never been easier to have your own private lift to add a touch of luxury to your life.
