OUR STEEL and aluminium shafts are designed to carry the whole load of the lift and do not transfer any forces externally. However, for stability, we need to have secure fixations every 3 metres and also at the top of the shaft. In some instances, these fixations have not been possible – see the attached images for some alternative methods to overcome this.
