THIS GRAND 100 year old property in the exclusive Sydney suburb of Bellevue Hill was missing one key function, a lift to the second floor.
With the owners wanting to stay in the property for many more years to come and the stairs becoming an issue, it was decided that a E1 lift was the perfect choice.
As such, to avoid any major building works, the small 710mm x 860mm lift and glass shaft was designed to fit into the existing stairwell void and the tight headroom of 2150mm.
To ensure the lift tied into the rest of the home’s décor, the finishes selection included: stainless steel profiles, 2 glass side walls, a full mirror on the back wall and 2422 touch stone floor, which was offset by the RAL 1036 and Satinato glass shaft.
