We supply outstanding, top quality residential lifts at great prices.

A residential lift from Lift Shop is aggressively priced, because we want your work. We also like to do healthy volumes and require healthy volumes to remain busy and therefore efficient.

Whilst this is a marketing decision, it is sensible because we have a team of around 50 full time staff to support and in excess of 1000 customers depending on us to service their lift long term.

We create large savings that we are able to pass on to you. Some of the ways that we do this are:

  • Direct purchase from the manufacturers excluding middle men.
  • Large volumes extracting maximum discounts at every level of the supply chain.
  • Freight shipped in FCL 40' containers, keeping freight costs low via maximum packing space utilisation rates.
  • Our Italian factory is in Vecchiano only 32km along a flat road to the port of La Spezia, keeping the high European inland road costs down. Something Milanese factories simply cannot control.
  • Incredibly low staff turnover levels. In an industry like ours, we have to pay a lot to train our people. So we look after them, they matter, and they become very valuable and committed and friends. Incredibly, the first three members of the Lift Installation company we established in 1996 are together today 13 years later.   • Our installers and service technicians are simply paid more, but then they do much more and these are capable people with great knowledge.
  • Our installers and service technicians are very well trained. They have Sat Nav systems and computers in their vehicles, reducing communication costs, downtime and paperwork.
  • State of the art custom electronic tracking systems. You don't need to phone us to find out the job status, you can check yourself or download all the latest information straight off the net via a secure login website. TRIP
  • Low self promotion costs - that's obvious, if you want an umbrella or a drink holder - go to the competitors or Target, then come to us for the lift.
  • Clear overhead control in all areas. (admittedly we get computers to do a lot of the work, but our office teams work very hard too)
  • Fair cost premises. We don't try to impress with real estate. We need a professional showroom to demonstrate our products. We don't have large overheads to recover.
  • Low running cost vehicles. Lift Shop has a large fleet of vehicles, we need to get men and tools to site. All vehicles are 4 Cylinder - including the MD. We don't have expensive vehicles or gas guzzling 6 cylinders. All vehicles are purchase new and properly serviced and looked after.
  • Expensive tools and safety equipment. Good tools last, its why we only buy the best drills, and tools, that's smart. Also good tools get the job done quicker and keep our team safer, reducing insurance costs and downtime.
  • Great planning systems, means no waste, things happen when they are meant to. (computers are great at remembering and reminding too)
  • Fast response to any problems. Realistically stuff happens that wasn't planned for but we know that if you fix it quickly, its better, so our Help Centre is permanently on standby.
  • Smart Stock levels, holding what we need to serve demand and turning over quickly.

We know the lift business and we understand waste - so we avoid it. We are constantly looking for efficiencies that add value.

Remember, just because a lift is cheaper, doesn't mean its worse, it simply means that it's offered by a company that is sensible, conservative and controls costs.
