Lift Shop has proudly changed and established the residential lift industry as a separate lift product category and has driven down prices and increased value.

The residential lift category is distinctly different from the commercial lift or disabled access/ medical device lift category. This was caused by the introduction of the residential lift standard AS1735.18 in 2002.

Prior to 2002, a standard overseas product simply distributed by a local importer from a catalogue would suffice. Today the residential lift client can visit a specialist showroom, try and then arrange to purchase a distinct custom made residential lift. This should now include:

  • luxury features and incredible innovations
  • low maintenance and service prices for the long term
  • unique customisation styled and to suit you, your architect and builder
  • full support from design concept to after sales service from a team of qualified professionals

Our unique focus and specialization has certainly gained attention.

We changed the status quo and are providing new value.

People talked when we opened in Melbourne alongside an established residential lift company, they enjoyed our audacity and loved the benefits of competition.

We are not afraid to be compared, it's what we want. We are of course disappointed that they moved 10 months after our opening.  We are not 1st in Melbourne, we are new, and try hard.  Prices have fallen, quality has risen and we now define the service benchmarks of lifts for the homeowner and for easy living.
