1. Delivery to Site (In order to facilitate efficient and safe materials handling)
    1. Provide level clear access for delivery of the lift equipment
    2. Delivery of the lift to site is by a truck with Hiab. The equipment and packaging weighs approximately 400kg
    3. We allow two men two hours for delivery. If delivery is difficult, we may need assistance or an extra fee will be charged. We must be able to carry the equipment a maximum of 50m to the lift location, along smooth and hard level ground
    4. If required provide a crane or forklift to assist in safe equipment delivery
  2. Storage (equipment needs to be stored properly)
    1. Provide dry, clean, safe and secure storage of the lift equipment whilst it is on site
    2. The location of the storage area must be within 10m of the lift location
    3. Area required is approximately 2mē (for four to six items and boxes, weighing 400kg)
  3. During construction and installation
    1. Provide rubbish bins; The lift equipment comes in cardboard boxes and packing crates and will be about 1mē of rubbish will result from unpacking (a small skip bin is usually sufficient).
  4. Lift pit

    2. Floor under lift platform is to be solid and level
    3. Install conduits as per drawing to approximately 100mm above the pit floor and to the top side of the landing side of the pit. All conduits require draw wires.
      1. One 20mm minimum diameter conduit from the Lift isolator to the pit
      2. One 20mm minimum conduit from the gate handle side (top landing) to the pit
      3. One 20mm minimum conduit from the gate hinge side (top landing) to the pit
      4. One 20mm minimum conduit from the top landing call station to the pit
      5. One 20mm minimum conduit from the bottom landing call station to the pit
    4. Floor must be able to sustain loads as specified and must comply with AS 1735
    5. We suggest installation of the lift to be done after the finish floor has been installed
